FEMAG was developed from 1982 to 1997 at the Institute for Electrical Machines of ETH Zurich, based on current technical and practical tasks, and is continuously adapted to the needs or extended accordingly.
ProFEMAG AG, founded in July 2014 and based in Wettingen (Switzerland), holds the rights to the FEMAG software package.
ProFEMAG AG takes over the further development, sales and training of the FEMAG software package as well as consulting services in the area of electrical machines and systems.
ProFEMAG AG is supported by the following partners: Semafor AG, Vetenco GmbH and the Institute for Drive Systems and Power Electronics (IAL) Leibniz University Hannover.
